On March 14th, 2014 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology “Cultivation of summer and winter wheat, summer and winter barley, corn and sunflower” for banking credit staff. The workshop was held in Kiev, Ukraine within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project.
The main goal of the workshop was to provide banks’ credit staff with the knowledge on the technology and specifics of growing agricultural crops in northern, central and southern regions of Ukraine.
Special attention at the workshop was paid to such new agricultural technologies as No-Till and Strip-Till cultivation.
The workshop was attended by representatives of banks from Nikolayev, Vinnitsa and Kiev regions.
To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
All participants commented on the practical value of the materials as well as the novelty of the information received.
