On April 11th, 2014 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology “Cultivation of corn, sunflower and soybeans (grain and seeds). Irrigation systems and their impact on performance of agricultural producers” for banking credit staff. The workshop was held in Zaporozhye, Ukraine within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project.
The main goal of the workshop was to ensure banking credit specialists’ understanding of specific features of the production cycle of agricultural crops grown in the southern regions of Ukraine. Special attention at the workshop was paid to the technology of seed cultivation and irrigation methods, their characteristics and the impact on the performance of agricultural producers.
The workshop was attended by representatives of banks from Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev regions.
To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
All participants commented on the practical value of the materials as well as the novelty of the information received.
