On 14 August 2015 TA Consult completed its work within Republican Microfinance Centre’s Agricultural Microloans Programme in Belarus.

The Agricultural Microloans Programme was designed by TA Consult for further implementation by RMC within USAID Project Increasing Access to Finance for the Rural Population in Belarus.

Within the assignment TA Consult implemented the following activities:

•    On 25-29 May, 2015 TA Consult expert delivered a five day training for microfinance institutions’ loan officers Technology of financial analysis, loan disbursement, monitoring and recovery.

•    TA Consult designed and submitted to the RMC the following documents and tools:

- The financial model for planning RMC activities, including cash flow forecast, analysis of financial indicators, various scenarios calculation;
- Typical credit policy for consumer cooperatives – RMC members, Agricultural Microloans Programme participants;
- Model regulations for issuing microloans including 40 annexes (forms and templates facilitating work with potential borrowers);
- Loan products profiles meeting the needs of potential borrowers – description of loan products terms and conditions, their properties and benefits to assist loan officers to carry out effective sales;
- Specifications for specialized software analyzing the MFI’s loan portfolio for further selection and purchase of appropriate software.
