Financial Literacy Training for Agricultural Producers project will be implemented by TA Consult in cooperation with the Independent association of the banks of Ukraine (NABU). The project is financed by the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE).
The ultimate goal of the project is to facilitate access to finance for agricultural SMEs via increasing their financial literacy and enhancing their financial management skills. For this, up to 30 agricultural producers – clients of NABU partner banks, which are beneficiaries of the KfW Project “Consulting services for Ukrainian banks on agricultural loan portfolio management”- will get a dedicated training. The purpose of the training is to enhance the financial knowledge of farmers, required when they apply for a loan at a bank.
The secondary goal of the project is to increase the share of agricultural loans in the SME portfolio of banks. This will be achieved via applying the Train-the-Trainer approach.
