TA Consult completed the consulting assignment with S.V. Express Finance, which is the MFI headquartered in Timisoara (Romania) and covers by its services six other regions in Transylvania. The assignment included the review of the entire risk management function at Express Finance including the processes of underwriting, decision making, reporting and portfolio management. The consultants completed the loan review, provided recommendations to the process of underwriting and underwriting criteria, and supplied the Express Finance with portfolio management tools like early warning system and stress testing, provided other recommendations and tools for the problem loan management. Risk Management Manual guiding the entire risk management process was developed and supplied to Express Finance. TA Consult expects that Express Finance will not only improve its risk management process, but also will be able to process its loans more effectively increasing the productivity of loan officers.
