On 10-11 September 2011 TA Consult delivered a training course in credit policies and procedures with the focus on the small borrowers including start-ups to AIPPIMM – Romanian State Agency for SME development headquartered in Bucharest. Agency management, credit and finance services staff attended the training. The training covered topics related to setting up business processes and supportive policies and procedures for the launch of the new program for the SME support, which includes the financing of start ups. The participants learnt peculiarities of the design and development of supportive policies and procedures from operational, risk, improvement and compliance perspectives. The training was interactive – the participants discussed a variety of the issues for the successful launch of the program and improvements of the access to finance for the target clientele.
