In June 2012 TA Consult conducted a series of consulting assignments for a number of MFIs in Tajikistan:
-    Risk Management Consulting for Chiluchorchashma (MFI located in Shartuz, Tajikistan)
TA Consult conducted a limited-scope on-site review of lending and risk management operations at Chiluchorchashma. The consultant made on-site visits and examined about 15 loan cases (agricultural and trade loan products) from Shartuz region of Tajikistan and reviewed several real loan cases together with the Credit Committee.
The consultant made recommendations related to the underwriting and risk management of the MFI’s key loan products. Based on his findings the consultant developed templates for underwriting for both loan products (agriculture and trade) and delivered a training session for loan officers and senior management to ensure understanding of the recommended course of actions
-    Strategic Planning  Training  and Consulting for Madina va Hamkoron (MFI located in Khorog, Tajikistan).
The consultant delivered a training and strategic planning sessions for the key Madina personnel involved in the loan generation, finance and control.
-    Financial Analysis for Microlending Consulting for MFI Behnamo (MFI located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan).
TA Consult conducted a limited-scope financial planning training and consulting sessions for MFI Behnamo. In terms of financial and strategic plan the consultant discussed alternatives faced by Behnamo on the current stage of its development including focus of the geographical expansion, relevance of the product mix and rationalizing the business model.  
At Madina and Behnamo the consultant discussed business operations, goals and objectives, organizational structure, regional expansion, loan product mix and target segmentation, as well as the financial statements. TA Consult had a training in financial model for summarizing the key business and environmental assumptions essential for the MFIs’ future growth and performance for the next 3-year period. As a result the consultant developed 3-years’ draft business plan and the budget for the upcoming year. In addition, based on his observations and findings the consultant delivered the formats for 3-years’ business plan, budget and sales plan.
