On April 23rd, 2014 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology in dairy cattle and pig breeding for banking credit staff. The workshop was held in Zaporozhye, Ukraine within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project. The main goal of the workshop was to ensure banking credit specialists’ understanding of specific features of the production cycle of pig breeding and milk production. Special attention at the workshop was paid to the specifics of the dairy cattle production cycle, technology of breeding pigs, relevant to breeding expenses structure, and specific features of sales of agricultural products.
The workshop was attended by representatives of one of commercial banks from Zaporozhye region.
To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
All participants commented on the practical value of the materials as well as the novelty of the information received.
