On 12-13 June 2014 in Kherson TA Consult experts delivered a two-day workshop in agricultural technology for banking credit staff. Loan officers representing credit unions from Ukraine’s southern regions participated in the workshop.
Six training modules developed by TA Consult within USAID Agroinvest project were presented during the training. The materials covered the key areas of agricultural production of the Southern Ukraine: industrial crops production, vegetable farming, glasshouse industry, berry and fruit production, pig breeding and dairy cattle production.
The participants studied practical examples based on real life agricultural producers’ activities and learned the most important specifics of agricultural production technology and marketing, as well as production costs calculation techniques in the key agricultural industries.
Each module was accompanied by relevant practical exercises.
