On September 26th, 2014 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology “Cultivation of grain crops (winter and spring wheat, barley, corn) and industrial crops (sunflower)” for banking credit staff.
The workshop was held in Zaporozhye, Ukraine within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project.
The workshop was attended by representatives of banks from Zaporozhye region.  
The main goal of the workshop was to ensure banking loan officers’ understanding of technology and specifics features of the production cycle of the above mentioned agricultural crops. Special attention at the workshop was paid to such new agricultural technologies as No-Till and Strip-Till cultivation as well as to the selection and sorts of crops.
To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
All participants commented on the practical value of the materials as well as the novelty of the information received.
