On November 21, 2014 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology for Metabank loan officers in Zaporozhye. The workshop was held within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project. The new training module on agricultural technologies for financial institutions was developed by TA Consult experts for project partner banks’ loan officers. The training was held in Zaporozhye and covered issues of agricultural produce logistics for the following agricultural product groups: (1) grain and industrial crops; (2) fruit, vegetables and berries; (3) milk and meat. The training focused on the specifics of operations, revenue and direct costs evaluation, operational and financial impact of major aspects on production results. The training was attended by 15 loan officers of Metabank. To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
