On February 13, 2015 TA Consult experts delivered a workshop in agricultural technology for Metabank loan officers in Zaporozhye. The workshop was held within the framework of USAID Agroinvest project.
The training module Field Crop Production developed by TA Consult experts for project partner banks’ loan officers was presented at the workshop. The training focused on such issues as the current status of agricultural technological cards and their updated cost characteristics. The indicators having an impact on the movement of agricultural producers’ financial flows were examined for cultures cultivated in the south-eastern parts of Ukraine.
Using the examples of real farm households the participants calculated the parameters of the agricultural producers’ operation.
To ensure most effective perception of the information by the participants the workshop was based on real life examples and included video and photo presentations.
The evaluation questionnaires distributed at the end of the workshop proved the high level of the training methodology and usefulness of the training materials.
