On 25-29 May, 2015 TA Consult expert delivered a five day workshop for microfinance institutions’ loan officers “Technology of financial analysis, loan disbursement, monitoring and recovery”. The workshop was held under the Republican Microfinance Centre’s Agricultural Microloans Programme implemented within USAID Project Increasing Access to Finance for the Rural Population in Belarus. During the workshop the participants learned how to find and attract customers, were trained in different methods of borrowers’ financial situation analysis and assessment of the quality of financial information provided, loan portfolio monitoring and bad loans recovery techniques. Participants also were involved in a number of practical exercises, role plays, case studies and discussions in financial analysis, loan portfolio monitoring, and recovery of bad loans. All the participants received certificates on the completion of the training.
